taking a look at the ret book so far is there anything in your force you consider an auto include? any couples you always take?

a pair of hyrdas flanking just about any war caster (mostly ravyn/vyros) is a think of beauty.

kaeylssa and e eiryss or prime to a lesser degree is sic. arcanic bolt + disruption makes me smile

rhan and arc nodes need i say more

a gorgon or 2 in your front lines just having one to throw out in a small game is a great spanner in the works

Right now I don't see anything in the faction as being an auto include. There also doesn't seem to be anything that isn't usable either. That's one of the major things I find myself liking about the Retribution.

Hopfully it'll stay that way as new books are released. I'd hate to see things completely outclassed by the newer stuff.

I have an extremely difficult time making a list without a Phoenix in it. No matter the caster, that 'jack always ends up being the all-star of the game.

Personally I find pEiryss is making it into most of my lists, the whole nastiest merc solo partisan thing appeals. Also, I think there might be auto includes with caster x in that with Rahn I would never not have a Chimera at least for now, the range is aweful to my foes, and butter to me.

Arcanists and Phoenix for me. Arcanists are way to important for making our jacks viable against super heavy armor (which I see alot playing agaisnt mainly Khador and Protectorate) that so far they are the only solo I've got doubles of. I just really like the Phoenix.

Wow, 5 posts, and no mage hunter assassins?

Two. Every single list.

Phoenix and at least one Magister for me, but I play almost 100% Rahn, so they might not be factional auto-includes but caster auto-includes.

Oddly, I find I run a Phoenix even when I don't think I'm going to.

Also, what PG_werecat said. Two Mage Hunter Assassins (or one and Narn), every list. Even if I build to avoid sticking them in there, I keep finding that I have those four points and no need for anything else.

I'm starting to make lists that are specifically excluding MHAs, just because I want to see what it's like.

Alright alright, yeah, at least one MHA goes in lists I run, but I got to say, as Cygnarian opponents have made me aware, only takes one Stormsmith or B13 or really one of a lot of Cygnar's anti stealth tool kit to ruin my mage hunters.

I've done this by simply not owning them. It's still pretty easy to fill out lists though I find. I'm a dawnguard fan so if I've got 4 points left, that's a destor thane.
