Adaption - When this model hits with a normal melee attack with this weapon, it can replace the base POW of this weapon with
the base POW of a melee weapon ICON on a model in its melee range. Adaption expires after the attack is resolved. Awsome... does this mean i can use a Long Rider's mount POW 14 to give my Earthborn 2 P+S 26? :eek:

No, because the mount does not have a weapon-icon for its pow - it has a mount icon. Thats how it will be when the actual cards release. You will still see the horseshoe for the mount and the little sword icon thing for the weapons. You can only take melee-weapon pow.

You can see the different icons on page 8 of the main rulebook.

Mount is not a melee weapon.

Back when and I don't know if this has been changed, but you could use the Ferox's Bite attack in place of his power. So, 24 was easily attainable. Throw some Rage and Stone Strength on that and you have a pow 31 recipe for pain. This was so situational I haven't looked into it working now, mostly because pulling it off was nearly impossible.

Ferox no longer have thier bite attack and just have a normal cavalry attack.

Caber Throwers can give EB P+S 19 which isn't bad.

Nice catch.

However, I think it will be tougher to steal the pow from our own models now that he has to take pow from within his melee range and not just close-by.
