After the thread on Helldivers Tactics (http://privateerpressforums.com/showthread.php?t=10491) my next task was to build a 35pt (being my groups standard sized game) Goreshade list with a couple of Helldivers, so here it is:
Goreshade (1) -6
+ Death Walker 0
+ (feat) Banes Thralls (min) 0
Nercotech + Scrap Thrall 1
2x Helldivers 6
Defiler 5
Deathjack 12
Tartarus 4
Bane Knights (min) 6
Satyxis (min) 5
+Sea Witch 2
Now I dont think that this would win any tournaments but its for sh*ts and giggles. But basically the idea is something like this: the battle group is covered by Shadowmancer; DJ for focus efficiency; Defiler with stealth should be a lot of fun; Nercotech and Scrap Thrall stay back for the soul gate repairs; Helldivers and Defiler offer protection for Goreshade while the Banes and Satyxis act as flankers and possible soul gate fodder if they end up somewhere useful for my following turn.
I went for min units because getting a free unit of Thralls on top of a full unit Knights is just unfair (I am playing this list for fun after all), add to that Tartarus topping up the units and it just gets evil. Also max Satyxis and Sea Witch is a lot of points in a 35pt games. But there are obvious options for maxing out the Knights if you feel like it.
The Helldivers should be fun with the Satyxis, as it can move up and headbutt a jack (to benifit from Dark Shroud) and then they can whip it to death (kinky) and the caster by proxy (just plain dirty).
Any c & c to help refine the list would welcome.
