This came up in a game last night and we weren't entirely sure. The second part of Ashen Veil states that "living enemy models suffer -2 to attack rolls while within 2" of an affected model", does this include magic attacks? As an example, a Druid of Orboros in combat with a Venator Reiver who has Ashen Veil on him, casting Force Bolt at a Basilisk Drake a little further away, would he suffer the -2?

I ask as it's strange for something to affect magic attacks that does not straight out stop them, or kill the person casting (in my experience anyway).

It is all attacks - so if they are within 2" of a model with Ashen Veil on it, then they are at -2 to all attack rolls. So, yes - he would suffer the -2, because the model is being affected by proximity to the spell, not to it existing (or not) on the target.
