Ok, I started to write an article on how to play Khador as a faction in general. Kind of an overview of our strength and weaknesses. Going also into basic tactics vs. other factions, units and casters. Then eventually into SR2012 etc etc. I was feeling pretty good...

When I was planning this, I was on a hot streak. Then I played a little more and have lost my last 4 games in a spectacular fashion. Some of the worst I have ever played with the faction. I really can't explain how bad my beatings have been.

So I don't think I am the person for the job anymore. However I will put my musings down at some point soon and write an everything and anything guide. All I ask is if you have an opinion or experience beyond my own or your own tips and tricks vs other factions or SR tip please put them in here and I will endeavor to add them to the guide. I want to write about the faction I love for the community I like to help out. So any help/advice/trick and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Afterward: About a year ago I also asked for funny/stupid.fun stories of playing for the motherland. If you have any of those throw them in too... I do love me some stories

I think the first point is one which i think always needs to be made.

Dont get stuck into looped thinking. Not every rule interaction and unit interplay is worked out yet, and it probably never will. So dont assume you can write off things.

The case in point is Iron Flesh. It is powerful, but that doesnt mean that non Iron Flesh casters are weaker.

I'm currently preparing something similar/along the same line, and one of the first lessons is labelled "the dangers of theorymachine".

I thought about it and actually couldn't come up with many tactics that were Khador specific against most armies , I find we have some of the simplest (not to be confused with bad) spells lists for our casters , 95% of our units are very straight forward killing machine and the same is said for our jacks.

Maybe it's because I don't play counter lists that I can't come up with any :p. If you know the rules and mechanics of the game then you can drive a Khador army easily and figure things everything else after that is subject to your local meta game and opponent's ability.

When I a list these days I make them for the fun of it. My last list I made was eIrusk's new teir list. It had 2 GC's, Behemoth, G.Bears and the rest mechanics. It was a fin list to play and was by no means stand practice for Khador. I think what most important after a losing streak is to remember why you love the game. I love this game because even the most ridiculous list can win or lose while having fun. I hope that your lucky turns a rounds.

P.S all tactical tips are welcome when it helps out someone new to the mother lands armies.
