25 Point Sloan

First Sloan list i've thought of:

Captain Kara Sloan -6 WJ
Ironclad 1
Charger 4
Sentinel 4

pEiryss 3
GMCA 2
Reinholdt 1

ATGM 6
Black 13th

Basic plan is to use the Ironclad to knock down anything blocking my LOS to their caster and use the ATGM using thunderbolts if needed. Eiryss and GMCA to run up a flank each and try and tempt some opponets army too react to them. Black 13th to mop up if needed on their caster and any other targets of oppertunity. Rienholdt do I need to explain.

The major issue I see with this list is that two of her biggest strengths, Fire Group and Firing squad are almost completely useless with this list. Kara almost demands at least one defender, preferably two for maximum shenanigans on her feat turn (three shots from Kara and two shots a piece from the defenders will make things quite dead).

I'd drop all 3 jacks and the GMCA and replace the jacks with a Defender and a hunter and give the UA to the Gun Mages - this gives you some anti stealth ability...

Thinking pEryiss as my opponents have to react too her. But JWC is to give Sloan, Black 13th or Hunter AShield.

To me the whole point of Sloan's feat is the alpha strike potential. Capitalize on this with Chargers and a defender.

The list I plan to toy around with at our Resurgence event at the 25 level will look something like this:

-Defender 9
-Charger 4

Squire 2
Rangers 5

Granted its light on infantry at the 25 level, but you have a really good chance to get the angle you need or just clear out the big threats.

I really feel Chargers and Defenders are her best friends. Cyclones rank right up there too.

My 25 point Sloan list lokks like:

31 - 6 = 25

This is the best list for 25 point with her. 2 defenders just beat down everything. The ATGM are rediculous with her, you Deadeye and feat...they will almost always get crit brutal damage. Sloan and ATGM ignore stealth. Infantry is nothing because you get 9 range 14 shots a turn from the ATGM (Snipe) and Sloan plus two crit damage shots from the charger.
