Tried a game today, Hexeris, Bronzeback, AG, and other assorted goodies vs a Deneghra lsit at 35pts. Figured I'd strat with the uphill battles first....

It did not go well.

Anyways, a situation came up wherein the Extoller granted Guidance to a nearby Arcuarii, who then led in a CRA against a pistol wraith with his newly-magic'd harpoon. Is this kosher? The Guidance ability bears none of the usual "may not participate in cma/cra" limitations that often accompany single-attack enchantments like Siege's explosivo. I know how CRA, eyeless sight (on one model) and stealth interact, but what of the magic weapon quality? Does the whole CRA become magic, provided the leaders attack is?

I would imagine that since those joining in the CRA don't have magic weapons they still can't target the pistol wrath so can't be legal participants in the CRA.

An incorporeal model can be a target, it can't be damaged by non-magical weapons. If the weapon the leader of the CRA is using is magical, I guess this is correct.

Wow, I didn't even realize that it was target model rather than model/unit. That makes Ferox and Venators even crappier.

Well, at least it got gunfighter, and boosting attack/damage rolls :)

i believe the cra just adds bonuses and has no efect on the weapon. so if the modal leading the cra has magic attack then the cra has it.

Aye, it seems like it would work that way (CRA become magic). Thanks for the responses - I've been waiting to hear something on this note.
