Hello all I was playing a few tooth and claw games tonight over a few beer and I wanted to know if I transfer fire dmg to a pyer troll does he take any dmg from the attack. I just want to know since it says Damage Types
Some weapons inflict a specific damage type that might affect
some models differently than others. When a damage type
is referenced in text, it is described as an ?X damage roll.?
For example, a damage roll that causes electrical damage is
described as an ?electrical damage roll.?
A model with immunity to a certain damage type does not
take damage of that type. A single attack can inflict damage
of several types. If a model is immune to any of those types,
it does not suffer damage from the attack. A model that is
immune to damage from an attack can still suffer other effects
from the attack

So if Thagrosh crit hits edoom with his Blight Fire and can doom transfer to the pyer and he takes no dmg? Also can u tranfer Continuous Effect: Fire to the pyer so he takes no dmg?

Sorry about spelling and crap i have had 20 or so rums and it took about 30min to wright this. Plz help me

You transfer the damage taken not the attack itself, so I am afraid the Pyre would still take the damage.

EDIT for second question I didn't see first time round:
No, the continuous effect is not transferrable, only the actual damage itself (none of the effects of an attack such as fire, knockdown, etc) can be transferred.

Thanks its just crazy that a model never takes dmg from a type of dmg but if u transfer that kind of dmg it still takes it. I was hoping to have a pryer winter and slag troll on the table to min the dmg i take

On a side note wow edoom with a mauler charging at 11inc with rage for free is nuts THAGROSH had 2 hps left on the 2nd turn. He never seen that coming
