Yes it is, that is when we will be running most of our events, as this seems to provide the best ability of our younger employed players to attend. We ended up with 10 people at the last event, it was by far the most I ran, and from my perspective it went fairly smooth, We set a later start date, and I slipped a little on the dice roll time due to stragglers entering.

Looking forward to this one, and wish I was playing not organizing...:Reach::Tough:

I'll probably skip this event, the rules for list building are a little confusing.

Actually it is pretty simple, let me try and explain how I see it...

Round one: 25 points, no epic warcasters, no character jacks otherwise pretty vanilla.

Round 2: 35 points, and you can "upgrade" to epic casters, and character jacks, just pay the points cost and tada you now have Beast 09 or whomever, fill out your list with additional models to get to the 35 points.

Round 3: 50 points, same as round 2 otherwise.

Lists will be added to with additional models or upgraded to epic casters or character warjacks. Your list must contain the models from the first list then add to get to 35, and add to get to 50.

So if your starting list is (not accurate for points):

Vlad
Juggernaut
Destroyer
IFP & UA
and Manhunter

In round 2 you could use E-vlad, and Beast-09 since they would be the epic or character forms of the first lists models, if you don't want to upgrade, then don't.

So it could look like this:

E-vlad
Beast 09
Destroyer
IFP & UA
Manhunter
Plus
Doomreavers
Greylords

And so on for round 3 and after.

Nope Epic can enter in round two, yes this is Warmachine only, Hordes will get their event when their MKII book comes out. Basically the list if you read the rules are the first round comes from Prime MKII book, so any of the units in this book are fair game for army composition, with restrictions on character units etc, per the PP posted rules. Great Bears, B-13th etc can arrive in the 3rd round if I am reading the rules correctly.

Yep, Round 1, All Non-Epic Casters, non-Character units/solos/jacks except for those that are IN the Prime Mk2 book. (Eiryss and stuff).

Round 2, You can upgrade to epic level casters and epic jacks (Not the unique jacks like Thunderhead/Deathjack/Behemoth/Avatar) if you have the base model already in your list.

Round 3+, Anything goes.

Confirmed: Warmachine only. Hordes will be getting their event when the new book arrives later this year. I think I answered this in a PM to cloudfang related to another issue he and I were discussing, sorry.:eek:
