Seeking advice for a slow grow league

So i come to you as a player who had not played for over a year looking to get back into the game with trolls...

My LGS is hosting a slow grow league starting at 15 points and every month we can add to it until we have large armies that we have learned intimately.
As we bump up the point value we can switch out one unit, beast, or caster each time we expand. So my question is this...

What advice would you give me for a good solid starting 15 point list with Borka... anything can be used. Troops, solos etc.

I'm almost tempted to run Mauler, 3 Riders, and a Pyre

But the options are endless... I'm a bit overwhelmed.
Any advice on a good starting list?

Points: 15
Hoarluk Doomshaper, Rage of Dhunia (*6pts)
* Troll Axer (6pts)
* Troll Bouncer (5pts)
* Earthborn Dire Troll (10pts)

For Borka with growth potential I'd consider running the following:

Borka -5
Mauler 9/Earthborn Dire Troll 10
Champs 10

That's 14/15 points of hard hitting Trolls that are also very survivable.

If you're not 100% sold on Borka I'd point you towards epic Doomshaper. He's a lot of fun to play and scales really well.

A great starter list with the kegslayer, keeping a budget in mind,

Borka +5
Fennblades 8
Mauler 9
Fell caller 3

That is 15 points of hard hitting goodness that will cost around $120 from sci-fi genre (http://scifigenre.com)
