Just to be 100% sure: does the "remove (...) from each enemy model in its command range" mean that the Devour Magic ability "has a range" (quoting the rules: "An ability’s range is the maximum distance in inches it can be used to affect another model or unit.") and so requires LOS to the target model(s)?
