This is my first really try at a 50 point list. Tell me what you think.

Grim Angus 6
Slag Troll 6
Troll Impaler 5
Dire Troll Mauler 9
Krielstone Bearer and 5 Stone Scribes 4
Krielstone Stone Scribe Elder 1
Trollkin Champions (Leader and 4 Grunts) 10
Trollkin Champions (Leader and 4 Grunts) 10
Trollkin Fennblades (Leader and 9 Grunts) 8
Fell Caller Hero 3

The main idea is to buff up the Fennblades and Champions and charge. With Grim and the Fell Caller making things easier to hit, the Slag and Mauler making them easier to kill, and the Krielstone keeping me alive, and when its time running the Slag and Mauler to kill his big stuff.

This list, aside from the Fennblades, looks more like a Madrak1 list than a Grim list.

The first thing that strikes me is what Grim's role is. I assume the idea is to catch the opponent in his feat, then respond by either charging or positioning the rest of the troops for charge on the next turn. With Champions, Fell Caller, and Grim's feat you certainly won't have trouble hitting anything, and the Mauler, Rage, KSB and Champions sell you on damage output.

I think this list looks good actually, so try it out and see how it goes!

Hey sorry for takeing so long to respond. The list worked great the frist five times but after that it got old and people around here found ways to beat it. So i've been playing with it and trying a lot of different things. And I have yet to find a 50 point list I like. Heres what I make sure to bring but im just not sure what I want to add to it.

Grim Angus 6
Troll Axer 6
Troll Impaler 5
Dire Troll Mauler 9
Krielstone Bearer and 5 Stone Scribes 4
Krielstone Stone Scribe Elder 1
Trollkin Champions (Leader and 4 Grunts) 10
Trollkin Fennblades (Leader and 9 Grunts) 8
Fell Caller Hero 3

I know the Slag is a better beat stick but the speed the axer brings I just love to much. Also i've found myself likeing Grissel more and more so im torn at caster as well. :(

Grim really likes a Blitzer as a heavy warbeast, (potentially) several high POW shots which against knocked down models can prove devastating, especially paired with an Impaler or if it is knocked down it is a target for both the gun and his melee attacks thanks to DEF5, gunfighter and virtuoso.

Also his animus is awesome if Grim finds himself engaged by something he can't easily kill (such as a heavy warjack) allowing you to push models 3 inches away and then retreat to a safe distance. Used by the Blitzer itself is also a great tool for charging into the enemy front line, smacking what you can with the fists then casting his animus to push apart the enemy line and open up line of sight angles to the squishier second line for all the ranged elements of your army.
