ok so i have a small tourny coming up at my local game store. it's a 35 point tourny with the ability to bring two lists.
MY First list is a Baldur "all comers" list
Baldur
Mega
Warden
Wyrd
Druids/UA
Shifting Stones
Bloodtrackers
And i'm having trouble coming up with a second list.
the tourny is 3 rounds.
The scenarios we are playing have been preselected randomly from the steamroller event scenarios and with one round just a standard pitch battle.
my second army i'm trying to have needs to be versitile and effective.
if i get kromac in which i ordered i want to field the following
Kromac
Feral
Pureblood
Gorax
druids/ua
ravagers/ua
anyone have any oppinions, tips, or other caster lists that might work(in case i don't get kromac).

Well, regarding the first list: You should really consider making room for a Feral. You need it. Then you should really consider adding The Lord of the Feast. The Wyrd I like but sometimes you don't get that much out of it, I'd rather see a Pureblood in the list.
So:
Baldur
Woldwarden
Feral
Pureblood
Druids+ua
Shifting Stones
Lord of the Feast
This list is quite solid and it can handle most lists pretty well if you play it right.
List nr 2 I'll not say anything about since I don't know Kromac too well myself. Sorry.

Hrm, I vote for the OP's Baldur list. I've posted before that Megalith will be the better heavy (vs Feral) in a Baldur list unless you are bringing a Gorax to boot.
Also with scenarios in the mix and people adapting to the Lord of the Feast, Bloodtrackers are becoming the better unit and have almost the same threat range (comparing bird to javelin).
I think both lists are good, and I haven't playtested enough to see, but in my games and calculations both Mega and Feral will only get 6attacks after the charge max (Mega will charge for free with Baldur) and Mega can geomancy stoneskin on himself so he can charge with it (sacrificing 1 attack for +2strength/arm). Feral with stone skin means no charging :(

I think it depends on what kind of game you'll try to play.
Even if people adapt to the LotF, he will earn his points value just by directing the enemy traffic. Even if you don't get to take out a whole unit, he'll always have some important target to dismember. ;)
Of course the Megalith is better but I wouldn't want to be without the Woldwardens animus and if I added Mega I'd have to take something out. I can honestly say I have a pretty ridiculous win rate with this list, but then again - it's probably a playstyle thing.
Anyway, good luck with whatever list you run! :)

I'll run that list this Thursday then. I like everything in it, we'll see if I can run it good enough to get a win or two :D

Now that list is 36 pts of course. :) Easiest fix is switching Pureblood for Gnarlhorn but I have to try that first. I've only run Gnarlie with Kaya.

it's 35 points baldur gives 6 wbp
feral, pureblood, warden is 27 pts
druids/ua, shifting stone, LOF is 14pts
for a total of 41 points minus the WBP of 6 is 35 points

Hrm. Drop the Megalith. 35pts is too low to field him. Put in a Feral. I find the best backup list Warlock for us is eKaya, specifically to deal with gun lines.

Wveira422:
Baldur
Woldwarden 9
Feral 9
Pureblood 9
Druids+ua 9
Shifting Stones 2
Lord of the Feast 4
That's 42 pts. Which makes it a 36pts list. :) What I meant is that The Lord of the Feast went up a point so the former 35 points list is now 36.

It's cool, good you noticed anyway! :) I'll always remember the good old days when the Lord of the Feast was 3 pts.
