The plan would be Forced Evolution and Tenacity on Typhon, Playing God and Spiny Growth on Carnivean, and Carnivore and Tenacity on the Angel (to pop 5 infantry a turn with overtake, repulsing as needed)

I like the idea of using this warband. I have 6 points remaining. I first though of min Raptors, but think I would miss not having fury management.

I have access to essentially all models.

Please help "pimp my list".

Take a Raek, thanks to the new rules parry on Abby will be great. That gives you 2 more points that I would suggest using a second shredder or a forsaken on.

It looks solid at the moment. You have her three favourite beasts but people often put forced Evo on Angelius instead. make sit incredibly hard to kill and hit even harder. Be careful with teh carnivore overtake combo, because i don't think it works. I think carnivore removes from play before overtake can trigger. Check that.

Anyway whenever I see 6 points left my mind jumps to 10 legionnaires, because that helps the numbers game, but forsaken are in theme with her and she needs the fury management IMO. Also the raek is fantastic with her now. With playing god on it it can leap and do two handed throws on medium and small bases. And its animus now allows Abby to switch on her wings and go for long range assassinations ignoring free strikes and intervening models.

Unfortunately you can't fit it all in. I wouls say get a raek and forsaken, although personally while I like the idea of tenacity making everything harder to kill, I'd take a second forsaken myself.

That's such a nice army and thematic enough that I'd probably play that myself.

I checked on the Carnivore Overtake combo, and it seems it does conflict, with Carnivore RMPing the model on boxed, and overtake triggering on destroyed (after boxing in the timeline). I like your suggestion Necra-Chi. It gives the needed fury management, and in addition to the above listed synergies, the Raek just plain has more hit points than the Shredder, so falls in line with Abbys feat much more nicely.

Who do you guys/gals find yourself putting Carnivore on most often: vs. WM? vs. Hordes?

Its a tough one, because Typhon doesn't really need it. You could put it on carnivean, but Typhon doesn't really need the open fist part of playing god, and the reach causes rules conflicts with gunfighter, still not resolved. Carnivean also REALLY likes reach.

Carnivore could go on a unit, but again it works badly with berzerk, or with single wound models, and then she doesn't upkeep it for free either.

Is there a way to exploit the wacky wording of gunfighter and carnivore? Can typhon potentially get +2 on gunfighter attacks?
Putting him at effective MAT 9 against living seems like a little overkill though. :).
You could always put it on that raek so it can chew through infantry with bought attacks.

Alternatively you just forget about carnivore and cycle forced evo between angel and typhon. LOL.

If he had Point Blank he'd have gained +2 on his melee sprays. No dice Necra-Chi.

The reach shenanigans with GunFighter means he can free-strike with sprays in 0.5" and 2" with his reach weapon, but the issue is, he has two melee-ranged, so which do you move out of? Of course, plenty of models have more than just one-threat range, so what it does, IIRC, is give you a free-strike bite if they move out of 2" from you, but nada if they go from 0.5" onward. But I'm not sure.

Don't forget that you can put Carnivore on the Carnivean and then have it trample.

I actually find myself putting it on the Raek. It helps out with those pesky def 14 and up solos he likes to stalk. I like how easy it is to cycle them around with abby though. The free upkeep means you pay 2 FURY for +2 STR on 2 models and +2 DEF on one... I like that.
