There's a couple of sentences at the end of the short interview with Jason Soles (http://privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/insider-3/17/2010-jason-soles) up on the PP homepage today that give the first hints as to what we're looking at for MkII Tier lists.

This week I started writing the first drafts of the HORDES theme forces. It’s great being able to lavish attention on each faction’s sub groups as we see new themes emerging. Unfortunately for my non-existent free time, I now have plans for something like ten new armies I want to build… Epic Lylyth-Strider army, here I come!

That’s it for now. Absylonia’s Army of Soulless Draconic Death won’t write itself.
I'm not sure if the Aby army isn't a joke or not, but Lylyth2's tier lists involving Striders makes sense to me. Better buy lots of Deathstalkers and UAs, my money's on the list giving you free units of both.

Nothing we didn't expect on eLyl. Absylonia one makes sense... just because that's the entirety of her fluff, created a whole army really quickly, so it means "Blood creation" models, maybe the Vessel. Nephilim are born anyway.

Nothing unexpected.

I'm going to laugh really hard if whatever Rhyas gets for tiered lists includes raeks.

Probably just light warbeasts or something. OR, the new warbeast or hopefully two we'll gain.

We really need another heavy, and another light could be nice. Seeing what our lessers amount to, I'd pass, unless we'll gain one model more than other factions (like Khador got one less).

Well, I think we all expected Lylyth2 to be Strider-focused.

What's the shoot-kill-shoot ability called again? Snapfire? Yeah...let's give them all Snapfire at tier 4 :p

eCaine'd like to make you a GREAT offer on a couple of gently used lancers with mint-condition arc nodes.

Or eLylyth. From super useful to why bother with one simple change.

I am just so completely baffled by the new animus. it boggles the mind. The Raek was unique in that it was loved by legion players, and non-legion players didn't call it broken. Now it's got an animus legion players don't like, and non-legion players will see as broken (used with ethag). ARGH

Hm, what about Seraph/Carnivean? Does anyone call them broken or hate them, including when you take into account the Carni is 11 points?

well, not so much. I've seen some complaints about the spray on the carnivean, and the usual slipstream being really good stuff. the Raek was pretty unique in that there weren't complaints from any side, it was just a good beast at a good value
