Hey there, I'm just getting involved in Hordes/WM, and I, of course, picked the Trollbloods~

So I did my research, and found out some viable strategies and stuff, but I can't decided what warlock to play D:

The ones I've narrowed it down to are:
-Grim Angus
-Grissel Bloodsong
-eDoomy
-Madrak (either form)

And I've heard good things about Calandra and Borka, but off the top of my head, they only seem decent...

Which warlock would be the most solid warlock at all levels of play?

That's a very open ended question. It really comes down to play style. If you want to run a very infantry spam list then Grissel/Borka/eMadrak are great choices. If you want to run a wide variety of units then Grim works well. If you want to go beast heavy eDoomshaper is great. And if you want to get the most out of our elite infantry then pMadrak is a very solid caster.

Personally, if I had to choose a single warlock to play at 25, 35, and 50 points I'd go with eDoomshaper. I started playing because I liked the big beasts and he's our guy for that style of play. He plays fast and aggressive and can really pull off some awesome assassination runs. Plus, he isn't overly complicated and you'll quickly learn all of the rules for power attacks with his list so it is good for a new player in that regard.

Best,
Brett

Borka with a Mulg body guard is VERY good defensively and would make for excellent learning.

Tough call, I think Grim and eDoomy both do better at smaller point levels.

Grissel and both Madraks at larget point levels.

Grim is a skirmisher so moderate point levels for him.

Borka likes him some infantry but his spell range isn't great so moderate sized games for him as well.

Pdoomy and Calandra are on my plate right now but I think both of them like moderate to large games to help them survive and they both do well when they have more to work with.

I think the best way to learn is to pick up the battlebox and play battlebox games. It's really the best way to get a handle on the rules. When you feel confident using the battlebox you should move onto 15 point games that incorporate a little bit of infantry. Come back and ask us when you've reached that point!

Madrak is included in the battlebox for good reason. He's a solid all around caster that can work at high and low point levles. If you want to get a feel for trolls, he's probably a safe bet. Grim, Grisse, and Doomshaper are a little more narrow in playstyle.

Will do!

The only reason I hadn't mentioned that is because I heard that Battleboxes were discontinued, and me FLGS didn't carry 'em.

However, I just checked Amazon, found one, and I'll start from there. Thanks!

I feel that pMadrak is the best all around caster, while he can't sling out the beasts like eDoomy can, he doesnt really need to. He makes his units into a very devastating threat by boosting by offense and defense sky high. I love that guy!
