So I recently finished a six part video tutorial on how to build a Warjack Repair Shop and threw the vids up on my Youtube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/Gareson1?feature=mhw4). Much of it is inspired by the excellent Privateer Press work but I tried to 'make it my own' with a couple of different approaches.

Narrative:
Though I suppose the regular armies of Khador and Cygnar have their own, advanced facilities for mechanics, I pictured a small row-house type garage where locals service 'jacks that are 'just passing through' their town. Or, perhaps this is a simple little shop where the likes of Dirty Meg service shoestring machines like Mules and Mariners!

Be sure to scroll down for links to the video tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LOrkwHf9LU). Here are some shots of the unpainted(except for priming) structure:

Very cool!

Your work has inspired me more than, almost, any other terrain builder's work. I LOVE your style of buildings.

Another very impressive piece. I never had much success making terrain, but after looking at your tutorials I have been inspired and actually able to pull a couple pieces off. Keep up the good work, your public needs you.

Awesome!! Excellent job on your how-to vids and batreps (need more of these ;) ).

Thanks for inspiring me to start painting my stuff again (and to add small details to some of my terrain pieces).

I like the little details that add character like the gear-shaped sign and the crooked pipe, etc.,etc.

Good stuff.

Curse you Gareson!

I felt like I was totally being original when I built a garage door on my Jack Repair Shop! And then....

You....

You...

...you beat me to it!

(Looks really cool though!)

Don't feel too bad. I've started two 'Jack repair shops myself and never finished either. Kudos to Gareson for not only having the idea, but seeing it through to completion.

After all, what good is a good idea if it never gets out there?

Love it!

This makes sense in the background - labor 'jacks, while not something found in every household, are a common enough sight in cities. Someone's gotta fix 'em when they go bust!

For anyone interested, I uploaded two painting tutorials for this project at...

You can see how it came out in the end:)

Very nice buddy!

I would love to play a board with pretty much any of the terrain you have built.

One request though for future video's would be to ask if you could put up a few stills towards the end.

Just so we can all see just how gorgeous your stuff is!
