E-Skarre Pirate Themed List 50 Pts.

I'm looking at an E-Skarre list, based around her own Satyxis "crew" and the pirate models in the Cryx list. Backlash will be incredibly helpful against jacks, and there are enough incorporeal models etc in the list to hopefully get past beasts and into a warlock. Comments are of course welcome.

You cold switch Slayer for full Black Ogrun unit or 2xrevenant cannon and more of "piraty" feel.

For both a Piratey feel and playstyle wise I like Black Ogrun and I prefer a Levithan over a Slayer

My Leviathan has been the star in many games under Epic Skarre. Seas of Fate makes it very focus efficient. being able to one shot cavalry like Skorne Ferox or Cygnar Storm lances is nice. Even if you don't go with the Levithan, I'd consider a Reaper for a more piratey feel over the Slayer in addition to being able to provide some nice tactical options.

Black Ogrun are also a staple of my Skarre Pirate themed lists.

If it was my list I would feel more competitive against all comers with a list more along the lines of something like this

The Black Ogrun work best hanging back with Skarre and taking out threats that slip through. Blackbanes can work a flank and when they charge in towards the middle could even benefit from Rengrave's veteran leader ability. Satyxis can AD and be a harrassment unit along with Blackbane's.
The Skarlock is really recommened for it's ability to cast Death Ward or Admonition instead of spending to upkeep them, or for those cases where you used Admonition and it expired, to recast it. Speaking of Admonition an excellent candidate for it is the Deathjack as it will allow him to step away from a charge. Death ward works nice on a unit like the Black Ogrun putting them at ARM 17 with 8 wounds.
The reason I prefer the Reaper is for the range attack. I already have a melee beat stick with the Deathjack so the Slayer is a little redundant. Normally I would take the Leviathan, but you wouldn't be able to fit him in unless you dropped Rengrave

I like the Revenant Crew's theme, but find them a little lacking in lists like this when compared to a unit like the Black Ogrun
