My wife and I can't seem to find any stores that are doing Nightfall play outside of Salt Lake City in Utah. Anyone know of a place near Provo doing Nightfall?

I spent nearly 3 years in Utah and was fortunate enough to find this store. They are active in a lot of gaming including Warmachine.

If Blakfyre isn't doing Nightfall, we're running the league at Hidden Keep in South Jordan. Bit of a trek from provo, but we're here if you want in.

Drop me a PM if you have any questions!

I'm a regular player at Blackfyre, but have not been in much recently as I just made a table of my own, have a 4 month old baby, and they never have anything in stock in a reasonable time frame. South Jordan is a bit far away, but I might pop up some time for a game anyway with my wife (she's a swan).
I don't even think Dragon's Keep is doing Nightfall, not that we would play there anyway. No one who frequents the store seems to know how to behave appropriately around married female gamers.

Some of the DK gamer's also have limited hygiene skills. It had gotten better just before I moved the permanent gamer funk smell had gone from overpowering to lingering.

Most of our gamers are married, and those that aren't are good folks, so behavior would remain classy. Come on down anytime! We always like new players. If the trek is an issue (which is understandable, it's kind of a drive) we do have league Saturdays the rest of the month where we'll be doing nothing but Nightfall from store opening until people trickle out around 5ish for the D&D group.

I've gotta jump in here to defend the DK. A couple of years ago, when it was at its old location, I would have agreed with the above comments (I was a bit scared of going in, actually,) but now it's a really nice place to hang out, and the people I know there are great. And I am a married gamer girl. (It's actually where I met my wonderful husband.) And I'm not the only girl who frequents the place, either, which does a lot to encourage both good hygiene and good behavior among any batch of male denizens ;)
Unfortunately, the Dragon's Keep is not doing Nightfall, since there was apparently not enough player interest and the cost for the venue registration seemed too steep to the owner.
My own hunt for a venue turned up Hidden Keep as the only place in the area hosting the League, and that is unfortunately way too far out of the way for me. If there are enough of us looking, though, I've heard of groups of rogue gamers going guerrilla, and chipping in to register someone's house or something as a venue. That's the only way I'm going to be able to participate...

Agreed, my wife can't stay there long because it makes her want to puke.
But aside from that, she is a swan. She plays Cygnar. Their national symbol is the Cygnus, a swan.

What is with the DK hate? I'm sorry if you had a bad experience at some point, but when was the last time you were even there? Dragons Keep as it is now is spacious, well lit, well kept, clean, has a ton of table space, lots of terrain, good employees, and the overwhelming majority of the people who frequent it are nice, friendly individuals.

I was there last week. It is the only place that stocks P3 paints in reasonable driving distance, so they still get my paint business. I'm still underwhelmed. I also don't consider 3-4 tables to be a lot of play space. In truth I still mourn the loss of Sanctuary. Now there was an excellent play area.

There are five 8x4 gaming tables upstairs, with an additional 5-6 downstairs (depending on the week), as well as two side rooms with their own large tables for roleplay groups to use so they can have some privacy.
I don't expect you or anyone else to love the place. But there is a big difference between it did not particularly impress you the last time you were there and bashing the store and the people in it like your previous posts did.

I too, have to jump in to defend Dragon's Keep. All of our guys who do Hordes/Warmachine are pretty well kept, and are generally nice people. The old location from years ago, was not the best of places, but the store is generally very clean now.

I'd be interested in a place to play Nightfall or some kind of league play in Utah Valley. I'm in Lehi so I'm reluctant to go north or south unless I know there is something going on. I don't want to waste the time or deal with the traffic just to find out everybody else is playing 40K.
