View Full Version : Guided strike vs. Knocked Down
Hi this is a simple question really, I just wanted to know how the additional damage resulting from an attack roll with guided strike exceeding the defense is calculated when the target is knocked down. Does one compare with the normal DEF stat?

You don't get any bonus if you choose to hit automatically, since you're not rolling at all. If you choose to roll, you use the standard Stationary DEF of 5.

There is still Guided Strike in MkII?

Guided Strike works only vs non-stationary models, therefore it gives no bonus at all against a knocked down model.
d'oh didn't mean to post from memory, I was just so certain that Molik Karn still had that ability! I guess I was under the impression they wouldn't touch that sacrosanct power, but alas, i just rechecked the cards, and it's gone.
@LC: that was quite a mindblast for me, hearing that it's gone ;c)
At least he can do a pow 20 combo strike? T_T.
