I've never used Saeryn and I wanted to give her a try, if anyone as had list of tactic advice I would greatly appreciate it. Here is my current 35pt list. Thoughts?

I used this list before, it didn't go too well cause I did some silly things ;)

Remember the Shredder animus is only 6" so it goes away pretty quickly.

Honestly, just try it, and tell us what you think. I'll probably try it a couple more times at some point. You might lack a bit at stopping power, especially against casters like pVlad, with his high ARM and DEF, and windwall.

Saeryn, Omen of Everblight

Raek
Carnivean
Typhon

Blighted Nyss Swordsmen (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Blighted Nyss Swordsmen Abbot & Champion

Blighted Nyss Shepherd
Blighted Nyss Shepherd

I had decent results with this list recently.

Run interference with the Swordsmen. Keep banishing ward on them if need be.

The Raek with Blight Bringer on it can really slow down enemy infantry.

Lots of ranged sprays to warm up with and then Saeryn's feat is good for tearing into enemy lines with little retaliation or going for a caster kill with no free strikes against your warbeasts if you can create a whole in their lines to charge through.

Just so you'll know, anything with reach can ignore Blight Bringer, even if it's cast on a small based model. When used defensively. Unless you block a pathway with it, in which case reach and free-strikes still blocks more, but is less certain.

Very true, but charging past the model becomes less of an option. For this list the Raek is an effective 4 point model that helps you shape the battle field. He is a little hard to hit and target, but you should assume he won't last much longer than his job requires. If he lives till turn three, then turn him loose to attack.

Also, remember to stager you lines of Swordsmen so that very few can be charged in the first wave and the rest can counter charge on your turn.
