Ethagy all war beasts 35 joy

Hey, i just started warmahordes with my mates, and in 5 weeks were planning a 35 point tourny.
Now i chose this list as i love the ethag model, and his rules arent too shabby.

Angelius 9
Raek 4
Shredder 2
Neph soldier 5
Neph Protector 5
shepperd 1
shepperd 1

theres a fair mix of war machine and hordes, and a fair-ish mix of each faction, i chose each warbeast to play a role, but with the ability to support the others in 1 way or another. o and im not really a fan of inf so was planning on avoiding unts of them, shepperds obv dont count lol.

I'm not really a fan of the Nephilim, that might just be because I don't like the models so I've never played them to really see their strengths/weaknesses.

In a list like that I'd probably drop them and a Shepherd for another Carny, or as most people on the boards will mention, the nephs and shredder for Typhon.

Carny can wreck lots of stuff, Angel is great against medium base and tears through Jacks with armor piercing, Raek has great Animus for solo hunting and eThags runs.

With Manifest Destiny up Typhon is a ridiculous killing machine, sometimes too efficient and makes the game kind of cheese.

I think you'll be surprised how fury efficient eThags is, with a 7 and MD he can soak up a lot of fury.

Also don't forget that if he takes 5 or more damage you can pop out a Shredder anyways.

cheers for your comments, they really did help.

having play tested more with the list i realised the neph soldier really has no place in my list, i did swap it for another protector, and it made thag ni-on invincible as you need to cause 44 wounds before you can touch him. but im droping the 2 nephs and the raek for typhon and a deathstalker as i need something anti-warcaster/solo and i found the raek just bounced off most warcasters and then got mugged as he was alone.
