There's a big discussion on Frenzying in the Mark II Field Test Discussion forum, http://privateerpressforums.com/showthread.php?t=1807 that has explicitly exposed a big difference in Mark II from Mark I, and that is Privateer wants more Franzying. Or more positively, users have to manage their Fury much more closely than in Mark I.

Beasts' Thresholds have been lowered and shake-off (which is being moved to after Frenzy checks) adds a Fury. Frenzy now only allows one unboosted hit, so less benefit in Frenzying. The end effect is most players are going to carefully manage their Fury, not running hot and trying to leech all the Fury on their beasts.

Circle has a number of models that can provide a real advantage in this new game environment because we are the best faction at messing with the opponents' Fury and likely causing the opponents' beasts to Frenzy or on the other side of the coin, taking the Fury and starving the warlock.

For example:
Feral Warpwolf: Baying of Chaos.
Sentry Stone: Devour magic.
Mohsar's Feat: No leeching so Frenzy AND starve warlock.
Kromac's Feat: Take all Fury, starving warlock.
Both Goats, Warden's Chain Attack: Slam and Throw for knockdowns, causing wasting valuable Fury on shake-off or choosing to sit out a turn.
All our terrain-making and placement abilities for controlling where an opponents' Frenzying beast goes (eKrueger will shine in this regard as will the Druids' Force Bolt d3 move and crit knockdown).

We have our own issues with Frenzy, but don't have it too bad with Soothing Song, constructs, Mohsar's Maltreatment, Gorax's Primal. I like this new playstyle for Circle as it adds a new dimension to planning a turn or two ahead of how you can real shutdown the enemy's game plan.

Of course, the downside is that all this is pretty useless against Warmachine.

Indeed. I do not think Circle has a problem against Hordes, but against WM.
