The future of Khador is ours for the making. We just need to complain in a constructive manner. Right now, other than a somewhat over costed MoW unit we do not seem to have much to get upset about.

It is still to early to call but it does look like range will be king in mkii. The three new gun types we are getting in this next release are a gift from PP to patch up this hole in our forces. That we had a multi page thread on the feild gun is proof enough of this changing meta. Thing have changed and Mkii is guns yo.

But I do not like it. Well yes I like having the option, but I do not like this idea that I will have to take some ranged support. I want the option to run an all melée force and still have a chance of not being shot to death. Now we do have tools that can help us hide on our way up feild, in the form of casters spells, units, and solos, but I want more options, better tools. I do not want to fight fire with fire, I want to fight it with ice!

I want it to be able to make AoE clouds, and still be decent in melée. I want them to be fast enough 6 maybe, on medium bases, hmmm we could always use more wizards, well! Why not put some Kolduns on Bears and make a bear cav unit that is designed to help get every one to front, or to run ahead and alpha strike gun lines. I would much rather have an answer to the range question than simply asking back another question. The answer is more support, and there is no reason why that support shouldn't be on bears.

Take pVlad. Cast Windwall. There ya go!! :D

Or use IF'd Kayazys with Stealth. Or IF'd Winterguard with cloud effects and bob and weave.

Guns are powerful, but there are a few counters to them. Things with stealth are great, and if your really worried Greylords can pop clouds on stuff too to increase DEF from ranged.

Plus - take the Khador staple, which was staple even in MK1 - the Winterguard Mortar. You are practically gauranteed to out-threat anything else with this, (except for sniped things etc etc.) and most ranged troops are expensive and flimsy. mmmm smells like perfect targets to me.
