Great Battle Report. I am an experienced Cygnar player, and though it's been ages since I played pStryker, I don't think I would have used him that way, however, I don't know if this was an objective scenario or a straight up kill the caster scenario? I don't think I would have moved as agressively as he did with that list.

My opponent was wisely tentative early on, but once I blew away his Long Gunners and Chaingun Crew with my mortar and Eiryss's phantom bolts, he decided to go for broke- knowing that if it became a battle of attrition, my heavy jacks would have the edge. Couple that with the fact that in past games I've played him recklessly and left my caster too exposed- he felt that was his best option once I was whittling him away early on.

Yes, to be honest I've never played Irusk. Air Burst doesn't look like a power the Long Gunners would like too much. :( So, I can understand why he spread them out. I probably would have advanced deployed the Chain Gun on his left flank to cover the homestead instead of moving it with the rest of the troops (actually Chain gun would not have been my first choice if I knew I was playing Khador, it's much better against Menoth or Cryx). The problem is, it has a paltry range of 10', though Stryker could have cast and upkept Snipe so he could lay down a covering fire template to stimey the Widowmakers, otherwise the Widowmakers would make short work of it.

I also think, if I knew I was going up against Khador, forgo the LG's and take another Heavy Jack, perhaps a Defender, or even Ole' Rowdy (he's 10pts IIRC, I could be wrong. :( ). That would make a better match up against your Heavies. I think I might like to play this battle out with my friends using the same force mix though and see if I can make his list work against the list you brought.

Also, that was a magnificent table! Loved the terrain you had there! :) That looks like it was alot of fun to play on.
