So, I have assembled my Legion Battlebox, and I have a spare part. I have this arrow that goes with Lylyth, but I have no idea where it should go...
It doesn't really fit into her hand at all
She has a quiver, so putting it across her back doesn't make sense
I could stick it on the ground next to her, but then it looks like she dropped it and is incompetent
I could have it sticking out of one of my Khador guys / on their base... (Would look great on the War Dog, like that's what he's jumping over...)
Anyone do something clever with this little extra? Any other kits come with extra goodies?

Not sure where it is meant to go, but I like this idea. My alternate suggestion is to stick it into a 'dead' cryx model and use it on one of her Warbeast model's base for some extra character;)
I've wound up with some spares from other friend's models, either because people didn't feel like attaching them (like the Cygnar ceremonial swords for the sword knights) or because people did conversions. I know the new plastic models come with extra bits, so you can make different versions from 1 base chasis kit.

I found that it is actually pretty easy to glue it into her hand although it does make it look like she is pulling back on the quill bits. But it does stop her looking like she has one of those klingon weapons.

On the old forums I recall seeing a really cute shredder with the arrow sticking out of his head. The person who made it jokingly said that that could be how Lylyth riled it.

My striders came with a bunch of single arrows and I have the same dilemma myself.

Along with this, Striders get several arrows, and inspired me to take weapon bits I could find, and stick them into warbeasts and heavy infantry, looks cool :p

I used the arrows I got from my striders on Rhyas. There are a couple sticking in the ground along with one glued to the inside of her ribbon thing and another being deflected by her sword. It looks pretty awesome-sauce, but the one on her sword is a pain to keep on.

Have it sticking OUT of the ground, with the quills pointing up. Many times archers would set up arrows like that so they could grab them easily, without having to mess with yanking them out of their quivers. She has RoF 2 right? Well see that's the 2nd arrow she's going to fire right there!
mine didnt even come with an arrow, ive had her for months now and never realized she was missing a part.

Yeah, but not archers that mean to hit something with their arrows. Dirt not only sticks to the arrowhead making it unbalanced like crazy, but the actual pull from the dirt offered more resistance than necessary.
Archers firing blindly into a running mass of opposition, not bothering to aim might have done that, but only rarely historically.
All that said - I believe this is the intent of the extra arrow: head down into the ground.

I used the arrow and stuck it into the Feral Warpwolfs limp arm as to explain his limp wrist.

I just got my Legion Warpack and struggled with where to put her arrow too. I ended up gluing it onto the underside of her bow, as if the arrow had just been released from her hand and was zooming towards it's target. Just a thought...

The arrow's aren't actually supposed to go anywhere. It is a sprue extra in that they had room to add something and so added the Arrow. I've see it used on the base as if she pluncked them into the ground so she could rapid fire with them as well as plunked into other models people wanted to look tough.
It is however an optional part, thus you can leave it off and it's not going to leave a gap anywhere on the model.

stuff you could stick it in:
troll bouncer sheild
heavy skorne infantry
you could have a clear gw flight stick bit between your warlocks hand and the arrow like theyre slowing it down
stalkers sword
cyclopses eye (or maybe bkrea)
tharn ravagers
the forsakens wing
the list goes on....

I have a shredder that I only field with lyl. He's called Pouncey. He's jumping on Balder. I put that arrow in that base. My little nod to Meta.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid.
