I was trying to think up a vyros 15 pt. painting league. Is it just me or is his feat kinda weak at low points bcause it relies on killing opposing models. Can anyone give me some pointers for vyros at low points?
Or possibly suggest a good caster for Escalation. Vyros is good later, but what about all the way from 15 to 50?

Plenty of Casters have weak feats at 15pts. It's an escalation event, you shouldn't be basing your caster selection on 15pts.
Think of 15pts as more of a gateway into 25pts+
I presume you'r not running Mangled Metal restrictions?
Just make sure you maximise what abilites you can use - take something for flank, and something for Birdseye.
I don't play Vyros much, but I think there's only two ways you can really go with him at this points level... jack heavy or 'unit heavy'.
If went jack heavy I'd want to start with a Phoenix, as it brings a hell of a lot to the table, is good for flank and gets great benefits from Birdseye; and an Arcanist. After Warjack pts that 5 points, leaving 10 to play with. So I can either take another Heavy and a solo, or some lights and/or solos.
- Vyros, Phoenix, Hydra, 2 Arcanists.
If I went 'unit heavy' I'd want a full unit. Dawnguard are themey with which you could either take the hard melee route, or the more tactical ranged option. I'd also discard Heavies and go with some quick lights to maximise Birdseye striking range... i.e. Griffons.
- Vyros, 2 Griffons, Arcanist, Full Sentinels+UA+WA/Full Invictors+UA.
Given the pts cost, you might find Halberdiers a preferable choice?
You could mix these approaches: Heavy, light, small unit; but I don't think it'd work very well.
...if only Destor Thanes were released.

Thanks for the insight. Naturally I was thinking 'jack heavy. Since people tell me he's our "'jack caster". But I was also thinking:
Vyros. +6
Phoenix. 10
Hydra. 9 ( love big range with no LOS)
and then either the 2 Arcanists Or a MHA Or a Ghost Sniper Or a Magister.
All have different benefits. MHA brings some fast dangerous flanking. Arcanists keep my jacks healthy. A Ghost Sniper can try to get a couple shots in. And a Magister brings a bit of board control and a Slam attack.
Using the caster and 2 heavies what would you take?

Arcanists.
...I have run 15pt lists with heavy jacks but without Arcanists very rarely, and every time I have had to cried a little inside.
It's more than the repair ability (though you should never forget about it), it's the focus to help you start your assault, and the +2 to melee damage on a heavy.
Power up a Phoenix on feat turn with the +2 damage and a couple focus and it has a good chance of taking out a full unit of MOW, and feeding focus back into your Hydra; all without breaking a sweat.
