Is anyone else bothered by the fact almost every flying model sculpt we've ever had looks more like it's slithering (save for the Harrier)? I guess it's more accurate now that they're free-strikeable (must not flight high or for long).

Terminus and Thagrosh the Messiah are offended by the thought that they are slithering.
Also, the Angelius (and now the Seraph apparently) have Serpentine.
The Nyss Sorceress' Hellion might as well be Serpentine.
How would you pose them to get them to stay on the base and still look like they can fly?

I saw someone's Angelius on here who put a battle report up and it was on a like a pile of rocks/cliff side. It really looked like it had just landed rather than slithering. Also the tail was circling around the rock a bit which looked amazingly cool

I say We as Legion, apologize to Thagrosh though. Yes they all have Serpentine, but they've also got Flight, wings just seem like they can only hold the torso over the ground without attaining flight, more like hovering. I'd like to see a few poses with perhaps the base of a claw to hold it up like the Harriers or only the tip of the tail, rather then a section of it.
As to the coiling idea, that was my plan for my new Seraph, gonna have it coiled around a tree
