Please don't slaughter me for this... I've only just recently acquired Vayl and I've never used her. *cowers from the scorn thrown upon him by the throng of the Legion*

I've noticed that she lacks a melee weapon stat. I realise that she's in a lot of trouble if she does get involved in melee, but does this mean that she's not able to attack either? It does specifically state that a model can "make one initial attack with each of its melee weapons."

I also realise that "Dark Sentinel" means that units would have to be particularly special to try such a thing when she has support nearby, but warbeasts may not be quite so deterred and eventually she'll get caught out.

So, if she survives a melee, can she slap back?... before she melts the assailant with spells and warbeasts.

Nope, she doesn't have a melee weapon, so she cannot attack in melee. This also means that she cannot charge, and that she doesn't have a melee range.

Dark Sentinel is supposed to be her melee weapon, I guess.

She is immune to her Hoarfrost damage, I consider that her Melee Weapon as a last resort, at least once that Stationary effect has saved her.

Yeah. She casts incite and then spells you in the face with POW 12 malice and/or POW 16 Hoarfrost.

:D Made me giggle. Well done, Necra.
