She got me second place at the PP painting contest last year, and I wanted to test out the new light box I got tonight.

Lemme know what you guys think!

Very nice colour scheme. The white is really well done, and the face is top notch. :)

Yeah really nice work mate. I really like the simple but effective diorama base you did.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Taking pictures of my work is really helping me figure out what I need to do to improve, I plan on taking alot more!

She looks great, I would however try to make the back of that stand look like something.. maybe a rock wall, maybe glue dirt to it and make it look like a cut away of the earth. I dunno.. maybe its best left alone.. it does look good.

But the model its self looks good , you did a swell job. Its seems to be a standard practice to elevate epics to new heights when basing them. Or is this just a trend I am seeing lately?

Dang, that Scorcha is really amazing.
I'm a huge fan of the offwhite/ red color scheme for Khador.
Nice lightbox too. (at least the pics look awesome)

iG4MER, You are the second person to have that opinion about the back. I intended it to be a cut out and create the illusion that Sorcha was stepping down from ground level into the trench. At the time I thought black was the best way to go, but maybe rocks and dirt would look good as well. Maybe if I do a similar base in the future I do something different.

The only reason the base is so high is to create the illusion she's stepping down into the trench. Looking epic is only a happy side effect. :)

Keep up the great work. So how tall is the model. Will she be looking the extremoth in the eyes?

Overall she's about 2.5 to 3 inches tall. I never put her next to my Juggernaut extreme, but I guess she'd be pretty close to staring him in the eyes.

Regardless, she would never find any cover in MKI if she was used for play. MKII its not as big a deal I suppose.
