Kraye -6
^Ironclad 7
^Defender 9
^Centurion 9
^Squire 2
Black 13th 4
Strangewayes 2
Eiryss 3
Bokur 3
Gorman 2
Here's how it seems to work:
Kraye is a mobile peashooter; does the odd charge on targets of opportunity. Meaning that these are the ones he can kill or disable in one turn. But most of the time he'll be hiding behind the jack line - Ride By, peek out, shoot, get to cover.
Centurion gets Full Tilt, activates Magno Shield and says "you shall not pass" somewhere on the board. Ironclad hangs back, for the opportunistic charge, slam, knock down, etc. Defender also hangs back, gets two focus a turn, does pot shots.
Strangewayes either gives focus to the Defender, Ironclad, or gives Evasive to the Ironclad.Gorman goes with Black 13th and 13th becomes opportunistic support shooters, infantry hunters, especially with Mage Storm. Bokur guards Kraye; more often than not, Bokur, HIDES behind Kraye (since he can take the hit from there anyway). Eiryss and Squire do what they've always done.
I've had some success with this list. However, I've just fought against Khador and Trolls; it may not work as well with other factions, I'm not sure. Also, I've tried replacing the Cent with a second Defender and giving the Ironclad Full Tilt (10-inch, Ride By Tremor is amazing) but the army seems to lose durability and staying power with that configuration.
Most amazing 'caster or 'lock kill: Troll hero and three light Warbeasts B2B abreast; Champions on one flank, bunch of stuff on the other, Grim Angus behind, no clean shot. Centurion slams 'beast in the middle, straight into Grim. Now, the Centurion blocks the shot to the knocked down 'lock. Ironclad charges to the left of Cent, then does Tremor, knocking down Cent. Clear shooting lane - Defender drops a double boosted shot, Black 13th drops four Brutal Shot pow 10s. I still had Kraye ready for a pair of shots, just in case Grim didn't die. If he didn't I would have lost resoundingly - Kraye ended up exposed to just about everything so I could line up the shots.
Anyway, whatcha guys think?
