Extra pair of spikes in Mule box

When I first got the Mule, I got two pairs of spikes. I knew two would go on the right shoulder, but didn't know where the other two went, if they weren't spares. Just then, I saw a pic of a Mule with two spikes on the right arm, and come to think of it, those two bumps on the forearm look like places to mount them. Is that correct?
