Poll -What Troll Tutorial would you like to see?

Hey guys - I'm planning on doing a painting tutorial with one of my many unpainted Trolls. I couldn't decide on which of my many unpainted models would get some brush loving so I decided to post this up and let you guys decide via a poll. Hey Mael, I'm with the majority pulling for Champions. I'm interested in how to paint the tartans. I am pretty sure there used to be an old thread somewhere about this.

Wasn't there a tutorial for tartans in the Evo rulebook, was it? The general progress used to be the same for all tartans. Just find some nice pics and give it a shot. There are plenty in the net.
But nevertheless I liked to see a tutorial too. More is better :) Can't get enough input.

You guys want to see Tartans? That would be a fun challenge on the champs. If I do it i'll definitely have to go with my family name and paint it that way.

Oh! I can actually do this pretty easily for you as I already have a Madrak painted up and ready to go. Unfortunately doomshaper isn't albino so i'll be painting him that beautiful shadow grey that I am so stoked about.

I will grab some pics tonight of Madrak opposite Borka so you can see how I've approached it. I didn't go so pale with his skin but instead tried a shadow grey to ice blue approach instead to get the albino effect.

If you were going for something more white I might suggest highlighting the skin normally from dwarf flesh to bleached bone. It should give a very skinish looking white tone.
