Zoktavir stood accross the battlefield from Cygnar's Commander Stryker. Stryker had intended on meeting a larger contingent of troops at this location, but instead was greeted by Kommander Zoktavir. As Stryker evaluated his surroundings he quickly noticed that the contingent had arrived before him and all that was left was a field of gore. Undetterred, Stryker decided to avenge his fellow countrymen.

Khador?s forces surged forward. Zoktavir, on the left flank, moved toward the middle of the Cygnar line and fury filled his eyes; his Juggernaugt just ahead of him. The Stormblades began charging over the hill Orsus was passing. Styker hoped to end this battle quickly and at range with the lightning of the Stormblades.

The Stormblade offensive was cut short. As they crossed the crest of the hill, they found their shot obscured by roaring madman atop a frightening steed. The Stormblade leader recognized the Orogoth blades and knew his squad could not allow such a foe to reach their lines. Together they arced the lightning of glaives to the single target. As the first blasts fired, Fenris leapt from his horse only to be met with the next rank of arcing in mid jump. Fenris collapsed on the ground twitching and smoking.

Stryker seeing that the Stormblades failed to destroy their target prepared for the counter attack and began to upon his power to strengthen the armor of his forces. Before it could take affect the Widowmakers managed to get a bead on the Gun Mage Captain. Before the Captain hit the ground the Stormsmith, advancing behind the Stormblades, tagged the closest Widowmaker.

Styker?s Iron Clad ran to engage the Drakhun in an attempt to tie up the most mobile threat on his side of the battlefield. Confident in his control of the flow of battle, Stryker advanced slightly in order to respond to Zoktavir?s counter.

The Storblades aimed their glaives at the enemy Kommander waiting for weapons to recharge. As if sensing his enemy?s intent the Zoktavir bolted at a right angle directly toward the Stormblades. Runes encircled him as he flew toward his victims. Quickly the Journeyman added his Arcane Shield to Strykers magic, hoping the Stormblades could stall the Butcher?s onslaught. The first Stormblade was speared and lifted into the air as Zoktavir used his body as a hammer to crush the next. The twice magically enhanced armor made for a great blunt instrument. The runes around Zoktavir grew brighter with each death.

Stryker watched in horror as his men were mercilessly cut down. Preparing to change the course of his Iron Clad, he was momentarily disoriented by the sudden loss of connection with his warjack. Looking over he saw his Iron Clad frozen solid. He was sure that the Juggernaut wasn?t fast enough to reach his jack. But something was different. While the Juggernaut chopped away at the invulnerable Iron Clad, it howled with anger. Stryker?s observations were cut short as the Drakhun ran around both jacks and straight towards him.

By the time Zoktavir cut through the Stormblades and Stormsmith, his runes were unbearable to look at. As he turned his sights to Stryker, his runes exploded in a flash. Instantly, a great crash was heard, as the Juggernaut?s axe bit deep into the Iron Clad damaging its cortex. Meanwhile, the Drakhun?s horse sped towards his rider?s target with unnatural speed. Stryker was struck in the shoulder by the Drakhun?s blade and proceeded to duck the follow up swing.

The Journeyman knew he must prevent the Butcher from charging his warcaster and buy enough time for Stryker to best the Drakhun. The Journeyman charged the enemy warcaster who appeared to be distracted feeding his rage into the Drakhun and warjack. The slash of the Journeyman got his targets attention. Moving quickly the Jouneyman sent his power in to the sword for a great thrust into his foe.

With his sword still hilt deep in Zoktavir?s side, the Journeyman?s hands were suddenly encased in the Butcher?s iron gauntlet. Zoktavir lowered himself down to his attacker and let out a deafening roar. Stryker and the Drakhun both glanced over at the sound just in time to see the Journeyman explode in a cloud of arcane energy and gore. The same explosion seemed to throw the Butcher threw the air toward Stryker; the earth beneath him cracked as he landed.

Before he could disengage the Drakhun, Stryker found himself on the ground. Stryker?s last memory, was the sight of only the handle of the Butcher?s glaive coming from the side of his armor.

Thanks. I have always just kind of given a dry summary and some tactical lessons learned, but I wanted to shared what went on in my head during the game.

It looks like several people have looked at the thread. Any feedback on style and layout would be appreciated. Thanks.
