So I?m looking at playing 1 of these lists for an upcoming tourney, but not sure which one. My Hordes playing is a little rusty as I have been playing more Warmachine since MKII came out. I feel eMakeda is a safer choice who is a little more forgiving the eMorghoul, but eMorghoul is just so much fun and people always try to keep well away from him or just don?t know what to do with him.

eMakeda
- has speed with her spells and up to 3 castings of Rush. Fast infantry to handle other infantry but really only has the 2 Titans to take out heavies and vulnerability to shooting is really just mitigated by speed. There will also be at least t 4-5 Cygnar players at this tournament.

Supreme Archdomina Makeda
Cyclopse Shaman
Bronzeback Titan
Titan Gladiator
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Praetorian Swordsmen (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Praetorian Swordsmen Officer & Standard
Venators Reivers (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Agonizer

eMorghoul
-similar list but here everything is just there to deliver morhoul for either the caster kill or he himself can take out heavies and infantry while remain pretty safe with his high DEF. Doesn?t have as much speed for the 2 titans and I can only cast Rush twice and more things dying rely on Morghoul doing it himself.

Lord Assassin Morghoul
Basilisk Krea
Bronzeback Titan
Titan Gladiator
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Praetorian Swordsmen (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Praetorian Swordsmen Officer & Standard
Venators Reivers (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Agonizer
Extoler Soulward

What do you think? I own nearly all the models expect Karn and Radiam and maybe a few others.

Personally kill the Agonizer ... she will never feed it enough Fury. Also imho dump the Reivers and instead take a Totem Hunter and a Drake.

With RTW + Rush the Drake can move 10" through terrian and get a nice spraying point.

The Totem Hunter gives you something to tie stuff up if you need, and/or gives you some hitting power, as MAT 10 P+S 16 against the Prey is nice.

Combine the Drake and Shaman you have 2 Warbeasts that almost ignore all the def bonuses out there, so can often take out those pesky solo's.

Scalpel - I read your write up on why you love the Drake and I kinda get it...don't know how you're hitting things with RAT 5 though, but I probably just have to practice with it.

Interesting point about the Agonizer. I usually feed him first turn and then that's it. Useful for both hordes and warmahcine....most people at this tourny will be warmachine.

I actually put the Reivers in there b/c I saw your list. I wonder if I take them out Makeda can run 4 beasts....even with PGs.

Now I don't have a TH or BRMT...yet...but I might have the BRMT come in before the tournament, in which case I assume he can serve the same purpose.

Thanks for you help....very insightful answer you posted!

RAT 5 should hit DEF 14 or less most of the time and DEF 15 just over 50% of the time on 3D6, and there isn't alot 16+

Sprays ignore melee, ignore Stealth, ignore Cover, and ignore Consealment .. so only Elevation gives you some extra defence against them.

POW 14 means you don't need to boost to kill a lot of things, and when you do boost its going to hurt.

Well first turn I'm normally casting RTW and Leash ... and running at my opponent with red eyes of "I'm coming for you, get ready!"

Depends on the Beasts ... can you run 10 Cannoneers with Morghoul ? yeah if you have 9 Paingivers ... :p

Basically I'm saying if the extra beasts you are taking are support beasts, then you can easily control any number of Fury. If they are all Savages that charge together in one turn, then no you can't manage it all .. however a combination of melee and support are good.

Move up the support first and do those .. i.e. Shaman / Drake. Then move up the paingivers, strip fury from the 2 Lights, and Enrage the 2 Heavies ... so in effect it's cost you zero fury so far, so its just the heavies you have to juggle now ... which you were doing anyway.

Don't be scared of models frenzing ... as long as they are not the ones that matter that turn.

No the BRMT is nothing like the TH ... nothing in skorne is like the TH because he is that frigging good. I'd recomend getting the TH before ANY skorne solo.
