You'll get more feedback if you submit more than a list. Questions, game plan and goals, who is running which jack etc...
Basically its a simple list, with alot of flexability
its starts with the ever fun
everyone in teh the foxhole (exculding arlan as he has 16 armor, and needs it least)
Siege at the front reinholdt behind him base to base
basically 3 rwos of 3, with the squire snuggle to the right side of the group. (easiest way to pracitice is to make the rows and throw squire in although he need to be to the side, so he can stay within five of siege, when siege moves foward.)
this allows gun mages to be defense 19 to range, and ignore aoe blast, (the bane of gun mages).
2 defenders are marshalled to the gun mages, and the final defender is setup with siege.
arlan give s1 point of focus each turn to one of the marhsalled jacks.
the downside is you constantly get 1 jack that has to choose between boost hurt or hit, but that is mitigated by just aming on low def targets.
Its difficult for enemies because they swarm you, you feat and blow huge chunks of their army apart.
or the wave you and die more terribly.
On top of that they have to keep caster 19 inches away from your caster or he drops bullets in thier brain.
This list pretty much ignores most the stuff designed to kill ranged fighting.
His feat and defender allow high damager output.
mage site provides line of site to sieges jack through forests.
gunners and siege dont care about stealth
and let me talk about sieges ground pouner, awesome.
siege has the unique ability to blindfold himself then shoot somone from 14 inches out.
and almost all weapons can be given magical, making siege just a scary individual.
Arcane gun mages are great for infrantry removal, or in a combine ranged assualt on feat turn, a heavy is limping home tonight.
it has falws list like terminous tend to saturate attack, which really turns into dumping as many round into his guys as possible. But even then its fun to hold the feat untill melee and watch siege crush him in hand to hand combat.
another factor dont neglect defender chrages on feat turn its an extra point of damamge, and an extara swing

I would be worried about the Gun Mage Capt being target #1. If you set up across from me, I'd make him my first priority, Arlan second. I drop them, I really, really hurt you. Sure, you can pick the jacks up with Siege, but it'll put a big crimp in your focus, and your extra toys via Rune Shot.

remember the jacks don't go inert they stay active they just do not get boosted damage rolls or the rune shot. if your that close then 2 jacks should have been sent in as beat sticks.
taking out a target is the easy part, getting to it is the hard part.

It seems to me an infantry heavy list would give you some issues. I'm working on a very similar list but instead of the 3rd Defender I'm going to try running Stormguard.
Please let us know how your games go.

true but i'm waiting to see what the firefly and Cyclone has to offer and what our tiers give us access to.
also anyone notice that there is a new gun mage merc solo we can user now as well.. hmm so many choices! darn you PP! darn you!

I would be worried about the Gun Mage Capt being target #1.
If the Gun Mage Captain Officer leaves play, the new unit commander (leader) gains the 'Jack Marshall advantage automatically. See page 80 example...but you do lose Rune Shot.

The only weakness I can really see is that the list is not maneuverable at all. You can get flanked and find yourself anable to defend yourself very well.
Of course in scenario play, I really don't see how you will manage to survive, you wont be able to defend enough points, and have a hard time moving up the field fast enough for no man's land.
Other than that, for pure caster kill games, it looks to be a fun list.
