Minions....book or card deck?

Will Minions be getting their own book and deck of cards like Mercenaries did?

I would love to make an army of just those pigmen/farrow.

As far as I know, the current understanding is that Minions will be getting their own book after the rest of the Hordes factions have been released. All current Minion models will be getting issued Mk II cards as part of the other Hordes faction decks, and since any new Minions will have their cards included in the box/blister, there's no intention to sell a separate Minions card deck.

Actually, I think it is limited to only the Minions that will work for your faction. So I won't get cards for Daliha and Skarath in, say, the Skorne deck. At least, that was how I read it.

Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, the Minion book is due in December.

It is limited to those working for your faction hence the "(trolls)" since all minions work for them

I will be livid if I buy my Legion deck and don't get all the minions. My other faction is Cygnar (who gets more minions than Legion) and my faction in consideration once I get all the Legion releases is Skorne.

But I guess we shall see. I'm not ordering Alten Ashley, Lanyssa, Pendrake, etc from the online store.

Meh... Between my Cygnar and Retribution armies I have Pendrake, Lanyssa and Dahlia and Skaryth - I suspect I'll be able to beg, borrow or bribe these 4 cards from the collected Circle and Troll players I know... If not, I guess I'll grab a Troll or Circle deck...

There's really no reason to include models that don't work with the faction in the deck. What's a Legion Player going to do with a Lanyssa card? Throw darts at it?

All of the Minion cards should be available in the Trollblood deck, and possibly the Circle deck (I'm probably forgetting a model that doesn't work for Circle). The Legion deck will likely have more Shredders and Harriers in place of superfluous Minions.

That's what I'm suspecting - All the legion players I know seem to have an unhealthy obsession with owning as many Shredders as possible... I once played against a list with 13 in Mk1... If I get 6 Hunters in my Cygnar deck, I'd expect to see plenty of Shredders in the Legion deck...

He's in the UK, so he's probably better off paying $15 for a deck than $30 for shipping four cards internationally.

I've always been tempted to run a Shredder army, just because I like the idea of a mob of little heel-nippers. Like an army of gremlins or killer shrews, or something... XD
