Seraph w/ eThag is great imo. For the 8 points you get a chance of blasting something 6 times and a good melee attack. That attack will crit 81% of the time when using MD and boosting attack roll, doing about 27 dmg w/ boosted dmg roll as well. My only change is making it a critical acid or corrosive so that it would damage warjacks in the same manner.

As it stands a Seraph trying to hurt a heavy jack is saddening..

Please refrain from making a new thread just for another suggestion. Their are currently 2+ threads with nothing but suggestions for the seraph.

He must mean Critical Corrosion.

I think he means critical erosion.

Not critical sedimentation?

Critical Oxidation. It sure would suck for all those warjacks...

Is the 81% your own statistic of criting? It is 53,6% at most. (vs def 9)

rolling 4 d6 when you need 2 same die to crit..

rolling 4 d6 when you need 2 same die to crit..

Now factor in the need to actually hit the target. Or are all your opponent's models always stationary?

No it won't.

On two dice, you have a 1/6 chance of rolling a double.

I cannot be bothered to do the complicated maths for adding and discarding a dice, but you're not *statisticly* rolling 3 dice, you're closer to rolling 2. (If not statisticly the same? Its too early in the morning to check...)

Simple example:

You roll 3 dice: You get a 3 a 5 and a 5. You end up with two 5s.

You roll 3 dice: you get a 3 a 3 and a 5. You end up with two 3s.

Since all numbers are even odds of turning up, you have 50% chances of the higher double occuring than the lower one (which will stop being a double - and not crit). That is *NOT* 83% chance of critting.

The odds will become interesting with MD and a boosted hit roll though...

This math hurts my head.

Where in the world are you getting arbitrary percentages? This doesn't help anyone. DC even mentioned that it's not needed on feedback.

They want to know:

A: is this model fun to play for you?
B: is this model fun to play against?
C: what would be reasonable to change to make the model more fun?
D: have you tried said change and how did that go for you and your opponent?

The Percentage I gave 53,6 is under MD with boosted attack roll and not really calculated, but it comes up, if you count every possible outcome of all dice rolls resulting in a crit hit. The number is important, because if E-Thagrosh's spray would crit with a 80% chance, it would be broken.
