I've been painting for a while, and am pretty familiar with the dropper bottle paints. However I'm coming into possession of several of the P3 pots of paint and was wondering, what might one do to take care of these pots?

I always toss a few drops of Liquitex Acrylic Retarder (http://www.liquitex.com/Products/addslowdrifluid.cfm) in my acrylic paints. It's a paint additive that slows paint dry time. It's usually used to allow wet blending, but I find it thins the paint just enough, and keeps it wet on my brush longer and helps me avoid paint brush streaks.

Other than that, always make sure you have secured the lid, and remove paint from where the lid seals.

I've had mine for 3 years now and w/ the exception of the metalics they're still great. Just keep the lids clean.
