Planning on going to Adepticon? We can have our game there!
That looks good. How do you take such great pictures with beautiful backgrounds. A+ on the basing as well.

The background is a gradient printout, which can be found here (http://minivault.com/images/bluetowhitebackground.jpg) courtesy of Tom Schadle at Minivault.com (a.k.a. Commander M). I'm using a setup not unlike his as well: light box made of stretcher board, duct tape, and vellum paper. Lamps above and on both sides using Reveal bulbs. Take a picture, throw it in GiMP, use the auto-correct function, crop, and done. The setup (lamps, bulbs, and light box) cost me probably about $35 to make. I had a digital camera and tripod already, and GiMP is free to use.
Here's the same thing with Gorten:

Dang you. You put yours in almost exactly the same pose as my basher! Mine just isnt painted yet (too durned cold outside to prime). BUT! I have something you dont! I put a steam whistle on mine! I just couldnt get over the imagery of the thing sounding the whistle as it barreled forward, sending guys flying.

Mmm Looks Awesome! Mine is on the table still I was wondering about how to give him the appearance of movement. You pulled it off well, and inspired me greatly. I need to work on my boring bases or making less boring bases... Did you pin the feet on? Or I guess the better question is what did you pin? (I'm a Pinning fanatic)

Most of the model is pinned. The planted foot is pinned to the base, both legs are pinned to the feet and the torso, and the launchers are pinned. The boiler, however, was green stuffed a little (just for extra hold).

I have actually pinned the boiler (at least) and I am going to Green stuff it as a filler not so much for hold. I think I'll just pin the legs first and see walk angles I can get out of it then go from there.
Fiirst I have to build another Driller for my FoodMachine Trophy. I'll get that Built and post some WiP pics too. (if I remember) /blush
One of these day I am going to PM you about Mk II Searforge Strategies Rel! Keep up the great work!
