Don't have a defender yet or else I'd use it. I am going to try to put the hurt on my little brother's Retribution. Gorman uses smoke to stealth the BXIII and then I disrupt jacks while killing all the Dawnguard.

As you said, I would recommend investing in a defender. I see you have included the black 13th as well as a unit of regular gun mages. Care to explain?

Is it not normally a good idea to field the two together? I figured it would be good to have both, that way you could flank with the Black 13th, or at least draw some enemies away from your main force so you can steamroll them.

But I might be mistaken.

I sometimes run both. Usually only in Caine lists, but on occasion elsewhere. The B13+Gorman can do a lot of cool things on the side if you can use the regular Gun Mages as your primary infantry killers.

Anyway, you definitely don't need the Long Gunner UA. You have no melee infantry to use Ranking Fire with, and the Suppression Template isn't that necessary when you have Ryan in play. And it just so happens that you desperately need a Squire, who just so happens to be two points. I'd swap the UA out for the little guy. :)

I really like the Stormguard for his feat turn, while a little tricky to pull off with lightning nerf they can kill a lot of stuff on the charge under his feat.
