Rise of the Tyrant: 35pt. Xerxis

With the release of the Mk2 Hordes cards, I decided to take a break from playing Cygnar to pick Skorne back up. I played Xerxis in Mk1 so picking him back up in Mk2 was a given. Heres the list I've composed.


Tyrant Xerxis

1x Bronzeback Titan
1x Cyclops Brute
1x Razorworm

2x Cataphrat Centrati (min units)
1x Paingiver Beast Handlers
1x Tyrant Commander and Standard Bearer

I based this list off of the example list on Battlecollege. The differences are that I lessened the units of Centrati in order to and Paingivers to boost the Bronzeback. The Razorworm was added to use his animus to make the Centrati immune to blast damage.

Is the Razorworm necessary to protect the Cetratii? Assuming one of them will have defanders ward on them in Shieldwall they'll be arm 22 and even without DW they'll be arm 20 - boosted PoW blast damage on average isn't going to scratch them.

The thing I've found with Xerxis is the only magical attacks available are his 2 x PoW 14 weapons... Maybe drop the Razorworm for a Drake or an Extoller?
