I'm like Spumoni. I'm also new here. I love the Circle figures and would really like to see what others have done with them. The official Privateer Press shots are beautiful, but I'd like to see what us mere mortals are capable of. :-)

Thanks!

blakeh, I'm loving your paint job. I have a very similar scheme going. Would you mind telling me how you pulled off the brownish gray on the various wolves (actual, not WoO) fur? Thanks, looks awesome!

I kind of wing it, but this is what I recall
I started with black primer
then mixed up some P3 Battlefield brown or Gw Scorched brown and some GW Chaos black and a little p3 Greycoat Grey or GW Grey (I think the one you use for space wolves)
Then paint the base coat and do a few layers adding in more brown and grey (heavier on the grey, very little brown)

for the first one that is more grey, I then added p3 beast hide and grey coat grey mixed with some p3 morrow white and kept highlighting up, adding in more white for the white areas until reaching almost pure morrow white
then wash/glaze with beast hide

the second one with more brown, I added in p3 Bootstrap leather for the area around the muzzle and parts of the skin
Basically I just googled for images of wolves and tried to follow pictures for reference. Most wolves, even grey wolves have some brownish areas
sorry I can't be of more help with more step by step details

Well, I did a bone white/blond as my circle's main color and accented it with bronze metallics. I think it turned out quite nice.

As I painted more of them, I started adding a few other warm-neutral tones, like the skin on the satyr.

Here's some of my stuff that was uber easy (except the Feral Warpwolf). Also adding in the Swamp Gobbers too. I'm working on some of the more complex stuff now, and unfortunately, I never took completed pictures of Morvahna.

Not the best pics, I know... but it gives an idea of the colors/directions I'm using for my force.

@studderingdave - that conversion is crazy dynamic.

In my opinion the whole thread is full of win and i actually got some painting done thanks to you guys.
