Alten Ashley. I use this Helldorado mini as a proxy since I really dislike the original figure.

Some Mercenary Jacks in a differen't paintscheme (supposed to be part of a Fiona battlegroup). I choose for a more rusty and battle worn look for these jacks, but still need to finish the bases though.

I REALLY like Magnus' battle group - the two tone muted camo scheme is really sharp! The yellow gives it just enough pop.

The buccanner is also top notch.

I'm not quite sold on the Alten replacement, but the rest looks realy good.

I finally painted my Croe's Cutthroats after I bought the nearly 1,5 years ago. I've used maybe 3 or 4 times, but now they're painted I'll probably use them more often. I painted them in 1 evening and I'm pretty happy with the results in such a short time (I'm not a fast painter)

Really nice colors! The only thing I don't like is how crisp and clean everything looks. I guess I like my stuff to look a little dirty and ugly.

Great work on those jacks, I especially like the Greenish tan color, can you reveal how you did that? :)

Thanks! I'm afraid it's just Hammerfall Kaki though. The greenish glow is probably a result of lighting.

I wanted to show that these Long Gunners are in fact Cygnaran deserters (or patriots if you will) without letting them stand out in my Magnus army. I choose to paint them mostly brown and khaki with a few orange highligts, with the exception of the left shoulderpad. That one I painted in dark-blue with a silver Cygnar emblem; the colors of Cygnar under rule of Vinter. This is also reflected in the volors of the flag, to show loyalty to Magnus but also the old Cygnar.

I wanted Ayana & Holt to look like they belonged together without having to paint them in similar colors. I choose to do the exact opposite and paint them like a chess set; White Queen and Black king. I'm fairly happy with the result.

Love the vanguard and the longgunners. About the only one I'd have ANY criticism of would be Aiyana - could be the photography, but the white seems a little flat and without depth. Again - not a complaint - could very well be the photography. But the army as a whole is REALLY cool - I love the colors on the jacks. If I wasn't already repainting all my khador, I'd steal it for my mercs - but I have 130 models left to paint...

@ Legalgun: Ayana has some blue shading in the cape, but it doesn't show on the picture. I guess I could add more contrast though, maybe when I'm finished with all my models I will go back to improve her a bit (I'm glad I'm not 130 models behind though! :p)

The orange I've used is P3 Ember Orange.

Very nice looking. I especially love your Gorman. It's very similar to how I did mine except my grenades are all copper and the cape is all one color...which is unfortunate, since I had wanted a way to include red on the model somewhere since I play with Khador.
