Dire Troll Blitzer Lock Assembly

Like the title says, any tips on how to get the Dire Troll Blitzer's lock on?

So I finally ended up using some tweezers to hold it in place until the glue had mostly set. It may have been easier to have put it on before I attached the chain to the arms/body.

I put my lock on the base and modified the chains so it looked like the blitzer had torn the chains from the lock.
