Mage hunter assassin proxy

So, i know some thme in the near future i will be getting a new retribution army and part of that army will be 2 mhas.
My question is if anyone knows any miniature that would make a good proxy for one?
I am not a talented modeler and would hate to ruing a model by trying to modify it.

I second that! I don't particulary like the pose of the original MHA, and have been searching for a decent proxy (but without any succes :( )

It doesn't work for me for some reason. I really like the rules (haven't met a Retribution player who doesn't), but I feel the pose is a bit awkward. Maybe a little modding is all it need, but I'm not yet convinced.

You might want to look at Dark Eldar Wyches and Eldar Banshees, with some head and weapon swaps those could look nice. Also, some of the scorpions humaniod units from confrontation could be converted to fit the role. If those don't work, take a look at the huge amount of reaper miniatures out there and you may find something of interest. Honestly, I might just buy the actual MHA for the weapons and arms (and maybe head) and run a different body. If you do end up doing a conversion i'm excited to see it.

Take a souldless escort as a base and add a chain weapon...

I really like this confrontation model. the unit has a few different poses. So, if you're not attached to them being female, I'd go with something like this. These guys have a nice "assassin" feel to me and with a simple weapon swap or mod they'd be table ready in no time.

That's definitely a cool mini, even has a Retribution feel to it, just something about it seems to sci-fi.

It is my understanding that there is going to be an alternate sculpt available to the Press Gangers that will EVENTUALLY be released to all...

I for one LOVE the model and have painted up three for my Mage Hunter Force... The arm WAS a bit tricky to put on though.

I repositioned the left leg slightly when I assembled her and she looked much better. I am going to hold off until I see the second sculpt before starting the hunt for a proxy myself.

It's actually not even available to us yet. The master model just recently got finished; it's not clear yet when it will hit actual production. But it IS coming, and yes, everyone will be able to get it via the online store.
