Moving to gothenburg sweden and interested in the local gaming scene.

Hey guys.
I am moving from manchester in the UK to near gothenburg in sweden and I have seen a couple of guys on here from sweden. Any information on local gaming clubs? Moving over for a lady but still want to game when i get a chance.
So any help would be great=]

Welcome to Gothenburg!

There's quite a few active players here, we play at a FLGS called Wizard Games (http://www.wizard-games.com/).
They have Warmachine gaming days on Tuesdays, will host the Nationals next month, and are finishing up a slow grow league.

I know a couple others from there post on here as well.

I have a friend who now lives in Budapest who makes two trips to Gothenburg a year. I believe he does quite a bit of gaming while he's there, so I'll check with him on that.

There are 2 swedish warmachine communities on the web, kolgruvan.se and gotapair.se though i think most of the people from gothenburg use wizardgames forum which ogrob linked to above.

awesome. Well i will check them out as i have been playing in my local gaming club for many years now as a fantasy/40k gamer started hordes the day it came out and now i play cygnar for my sins. I was living in sweden last year but didnt have any time for gaming. After a stint of earning money back in the uk I am coming back. And yes there is some good music there having seen At the gates on their final tour =] Should be fun to see what the swedes make of warmachine/hordes and if they play in the same way the english do. So might see some of you there when im down.

Sweet, well i will be there but for the first while i need to spend some time with the lovley lady.... Swedish women are quite demanding and you probably well know. I hope they speak english to me when playing as my swedish isnt fluent yet =p (to be fair neither is my english and im from the UK)....
