We have in our army list a lot of capable and well rounded models. a lot of mean tricks to play, and alot of really cool, flavourful models.

We aren't all going to get everything we want out of FT. indeed there may end up being a few "almost never includes" for some people. But we can be sure that it's going to be a more balanced game for everyone.

The point of this post, is that everyone (myself included) has ideas, and has had ideas, about what they want this faction to be. and alot of people don't agree on things. but in the end, it's going to be something. I spent alot of time whining before certain things were fixed, and before I started playing the MK II faction, instead of playing MK II with MK I tactics. I whined alot. But I'm done whining. Are there things I think need to be fixed? yes. Am I going to continue with whining about it? no. there's a feedback process for getting my opinions on that heard.

I will continue to contribute to discussion, but I will be spending my time looking at helping to understand the things we have, instead of shouting at them as being broken or wrong or whatever. Let's be productive.

Can we step up and not be the faction who makes threats of switching sides, or leaving the game, or constant whines about things? Let's roll with whatever percieved punches we get, and have fun playing the game. If you need help with beating a certain opponent, ask for help. If you're having a hard time with strategies and tactics, that's okay. Everything's new. Now's the time to learn, to have fun, and to go to war for the Glory of Everblight.

(tl;dr, man up, this game is going to be fun if you let yourself enjoy it)

There are players, there are players who surf forums, there are players who actually post on forums, there players who post a ton on forums (cough Necra), then then beyond that these same players that are very active have to actually SIGN up for the field test and actually SUBMIT feedback.

I know a lot of regular players that are never leaving feedback and don't go to the forums at all but will gripe depending on what happens with those that do, even willing to walk from the game.
I feel the majority of people that are submitting feedback are putting in the time to test and write in. There will be a contingent of players that will write in simply based on what they read. This number is small. The largest portion of very active PP players care very much for the game and will do their best to be NEUTRAL for the sake of the game. WE few that do this will have an impact as the others that stand by our side convey the same message to PP and they respond by fixes (such as Abs, seraph, carny). A ton of forum posters will never actually submit fedback, just don't become one of them.
I was extremely happy with my Cryx and how all the + and - that happened to models were addressed, I fealt like I really contributed.

If we do not do our part to help something then it will have to wait until MK3, if we push a model to be too powerful then it will be ERRATA'd which is what the Field Test is made to avoid.

Finally WANT should not be part of this Field Test, this is a Quest of balance and only needs are addressed here. Need to get hit by a nerf bat or need to get a steroid shot. We act as a whole (unless you are in one of the special groups) and no one will get what they want but they may get what they need and walk away happy.

Because of this post, I'm going to quit playing Legion. ;)

Shoot, Legion rocks! Let's bang out a few more days of this and then pray.

I'm definitely not saying to keep quiet when you think a change needs to take place - I'm just saying that whining isn't the way to get the changes needed. Let's be productive instead of chiming in on every single thread talking about the same talking points over and over. Let's post our opinions, politely and succinctly, and then submit feedback. It's much more important to get our feedback squared away clearly, than it is to argue about things ad nauseum.

And I don't want MK II to be another however many years of "oh everblight, those __________ (cheaters/whiners/whatever)." it'd be nice to just be another faction with cool models and fun rules.

I think we've got that this time around. We actually obey all the game rules now. :P

We are a faction with cool models and cool rules.

There are some odd "members" who seem to think we need to nerf some of our stuff...or make it less reliable...or make it more challenging to use. I urge everyone not to pay these "members" heed - they are some sort of agent of Toruk in disguise, trying to threaten the power of his greatest son! :p

The most important things are to keep the game fun for everyone involved. That said, don't think that Legion "owes" anyone anything. Don't change us into something we aren't.

I admit we shouldn't whine when we get something "good" instead of "great" - but we certainly shouldn't be looking for ways to hinder ourselves.

I just wish come the end of the fieldtest the suggestions for changes will stop. Unfortunately we won't see finalized rules until gencon it sounds like. With january 11th having semi official rules.

I am glad to see that all of the "Legion whining" that some predicted never happened. Legion, in general, has been really good about not complaining unduly I believe. We were all prepared for the wings change, and accepted it with good graces. The only complaints that I have really seen on a large scale were fairly legitimate things about how models worked.
