Ive recently finished watching the P3 Painting DVD and have written a review of it over at the IABN.

I watched it a month ago.

It's one of those videos that makes you feel, "Hey I think I can paint!!" but when you get down to it, it's not as easy as depicted.;)

Raven: You have a copy?

It's an interesting DVD that I might want to get....

I'd have to agree entirely. I did my Ironclad while watching the video, and I have to say, had I just tried to memorize how the techniques were done without going along with the the first time around, I'd have missed some steps, but after you do it once, you can apply those techniques to all your models since you'll have a better understanding of the skill sets it takes.

I found even the demo clip fairly informative, especially since i've already painted quite a few models, it showed me mistakes i'de made in the steps i took while painting, as well as some technique's i hadn't thought of previously.

It offers me a compare and contrast.
Let's me see how people do their things and compare it to how I do mine.:p

It's a pretty good dvd, especially if you are new to painting, with a bonus if you can follow along and paint the exact miniature they are covering.

A more comprehensive DVD for covering techniques from beginner to expert is Hot Lead

I also enjoyed it. I wish they would get busy and release the next one in the series.
