What paint to use?

Hello everyone.I have been hovering around the forums like a Machine Wraith for quite some time, but only now I decided to post something.Not to drag this on, here's the question:what should I use for painting my cryx?I already have a paint scheme, but now I'm trying to decide what paint should I use.I have a good bunch of Citadel paints (the ones that GW publishes), but I want to try out some P3 paints.So please tell me, which are better, if any of you people used both, wich ones should I concider using?
I realy would want to get banned for mentioning GW or using Citadel paints as an comparison, so I'l put it this way: are P3 paints any better than other ones out there?All feedback apriciated :)

P3's got some really good colors. Menoth White Highlight in particular stands out for me, personally. Citadel's also got some great stuff - their washes are fantastic, and the foundation line isn't bad at all. Pretty good metallics, too, which is an area where P3 was so weak that they ended up issuing a recall for most of them (though I really like Pig Iron).

The universal truth is that P3 paints have superior coverage, but metalics and especially washes from GW are much better investment.
While painting with Privateer's paints remember to water them down A LOT, since they are much thicker than their GW counterparts.
If you decide to buy metallics from PP keep in mind that you have to shake them vigorously before the usage and beware of Rhulic Gold.

I like the vibrant color tones of P3 better than Citadel, and as mentioned before they have much better coverage. I haven't used any of the P3 metallics since I went to NMM when I started painting my Warmachine army, so I can't comment on that. Vallejo game color paints are also a good choice, though I've found they don't mix well with P3/Citadel.

I am using Vallojo Game Colors. The coverage is good and the colors are very goodlooking, especially the extra opaque line.
I like the greens(dead flesh + yellow olive) and reds.

Speaking of Rhulic Gold, does anyone know if they've reissued a less problematic batch yet?

vallojo game & model colors. great paint and tons of color choices.

Yes, I have heard alot about Vallojo, but I don't have a simple way to get them, so I have to choose P3 and Citadel instead.And yes, I'm going to use Citadels metalics and washes, the failure of P3's metalics are heard even outside the forums.Thanks for everyones advices :)

Vallajo modle colour are my paint of choice. If you can get your hands on them try them out. I use Vallajo airbrush metalics for my metalics. There are about 10 to 12 colours in the range and they are super super smooth and have great coverage.
